Color Barcode
An exercise that I had in color class this week. I had to pick four subjects that have connection between them and represent each of them by creating a unique color barcode. I chose to do about one of my favorite subjects. The animal kingdom.
I wrote the subjects below the barcodes. They are not in the same order as the barcodes!
Try to guess which barcode represent which subject.

House in my neighborhood
I like the neighborhood that i live in "Hadar Yossef" which is a suburb in north Tel Aviv. In that neighborhood there are unique old buildings that were built in the beginning of the state of Israel. In those days the goverment build these simple and small houses for Jewish refugees that came in the 50's. Although they are very old and small houses, each house is unique and has it's own story and that's what i love about them. Today many of them are being demolished and replace by big apartment buildings or private villas. However you can still find some of them around. I believe it's my responsibility to document them for future generations.

I hope you will enjoy them too.

It's a blast from the past!
While I was visiting my grandma and grandpa's house I decided to look for some of my old drawings.
I wanted to do this for a research I am doing. trying to find my unique style. I think looking at old drawings
gave me a new perspective and to see my development since kinder-garden till junior high. All these works
were done between the age of 6 till the age of 14.
I really liked birds and I really liked to watch "The Wonderful Adventures of Nils". I understood that it
was first broadcast in 1980, but to Israel it came only in the 1990's.
I don't know what I was thinking when I painted that.
My version to the Tom Sawyer character from the books of Mark Twain.
A caricature portray the prophet Elijah and his disciple Elisha fighting the false prophets.

First tries in different softwars
These are my first works I did with differnet softwars:
The first one was done by Adobe Illustrature. I was really influenced from "Adventure Time" when I did it.
I tries to imitate the style, color and off course mode.
The second was done in Coral Painter. Its based on a toy my nephew really loves. My nephew calls it Shoky. In this drowing I tried to give it the look of the oil painting I did in high school (the ones in my first post) and as you can see its very hard for someone how isnt very exprience with computers (like me) to create a non computer look while he drow in the computer.
But I keep on practicing and I hope you too, whatever you are doing. I write to you soon.
